Anti wrinkle injections (Botox)

More than 3 million Botox treatments take place around the world every year. The treatment is effective and well researched having been in use for over 25 years.

The treatment takes about 10 minutes and, since you only feel a few small pinpricks, no anaesthetic is required. You will see the effects of treatment 5-14 days afterwards and it lasts between 3 and 6 months.

The most common sites of use are the forehead, crow’s feet, frown lines and bunny lines (next to the nose).

Serious side effects are very rare. An example of a serious side effect can be drooping of the eyelid. Even if this happens it can often be reversed and, if it can’t the limited duration of the effect of Botox means that the effect is not permanent.
