Valeria came to York from Moldova as a teenager having also lived for a few years in Romania.

She quickly picked up English in addition to the Moldovan, Romanian and Russian which she also speaks fluently and entered the hospitality industry upon leaving college. 

Having risen through the ranks to Reception Supervisor by the age of 21 she was looking for a new challenge following the birth of her baby and a friend recommended dental nursing.

The organisational skills and warmness which were such a large part of her previous role transfer well to the world of dentistry and, in addition, the scientific element adds a new level of stimulation. 

Valeria has been quick to learn from day one and become a valuable part of our team.

She lives in York with her fiancé Abdalla and their son, Adam. They love to explore their new home at weekends on family days out in the Yorkshire countryside. Valeria is also a keen sportswoman and swims whenever she gets the chance.
