Adam KharchiDentist GDC Number: 153827
Adam qualified from Sheffield, his home town, in 2008 and moved to West Yorkshire a few years later. His endless patience, empathy and enthusiasm lend themselves well to both of his roles – providing the highest quality ethical and preventative dental care for patients at Hopkinson Dental and teaching undergraduate students at the Leeds Dental Institute.
In 2011 he was awarded a Distinction in the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education from Sheffield Hallam University. As well as teaching others Adam develops his interests within dentistry by continuous postgraduate study and is currently studying for a Masters in Endodontics (root fillings) at the University of Central Lancashire.
Recently Adam has been a leading primary care practitioner on the FiCTION trial run by Newcastle University and a collaboration of other UK universities to develop our understanding as a profession regarding the best management of childhood dental decay.
This tireless activity continues in Adam’s spare time. As a very keen sportsman throughout his life he has developed a love of cycling, enjoying the many hills to ride around Leeds where he lives. Other sporting pastimes include golf, football and basketball. Travelling around Italy has sparked an interest in Italian language (which he is learning) and culture.
